First sign-in and your workspace

The shell

• Sidebar — grouped by People, Payroll, Company and Help. Items you cannot use are hidden, not greyed: the menu is a mirror of your permissions.
• Company switcher (bottom left) — the company you are operating and the active financial year. Providers switch between clients here; the year switch re-scopes every figure on every page.
• Top bar — the page title and the acting company.

Providers: pick a company first

A provider's home firm is not a client. After sign-in you land on Client companies and choose whom to operate; the dashboard, employees and payroll pages then show that client. Your own firm's payroll (if you run one) is just another entry in that list.

Verification lock

Until your contact is verified, the app shows only the verification screen. This is enforced by the server as well — it is not a cosmetic wall.
