Lifecycle: join, notice, exit

An employee's status is derived from events: join, notice, exit, settlement. Events are effective-dated and audited.

  • Prospective — offer accepted, DOJ in the future; enters the roster automatically when the month arrives.
  • Active — on the roster for the month.
  • On notice — still processed; the run page shows the notice.
  • Exited — processed until the exit date; then eligible for full and final settlement, which the run page offers even before the cutoff.
  • Settled — done.

The Experience letter and other exit documents are emailed from the employee page once exited.
