Add an employee

People → Employees → Add. One page: identity, statutory identifiers, department, designation and processing group, then the structure and pay.

Pay

Choose a structure, then either an annual CTC or a monthly gross; the fitment preview shows every head, PF, ESIC, PT, TDS and net as they will freeze. For a package structure (fixed-amount heads) you enter the heads directly; the gross is their sum.

Date of joining

Required. It anchors the person's first lifecycle event and the floor for every later revision. A joining date after the import ceiling (the last processed month) is rejected.

Overrides

Set at hire, editable later from the Details tab: PF exclusion, TDS exclusion, ESIC, TDS regime, overtime.
